Outstanding sports
Marisa works with elite athletes including Premiership football players to make them outstanding and to give them absolute confidence in their skills and in themselves. Since self belief and skill combined with an ability to visualize and see only good things about their ability makes footballers better players, she works with players individually to improve their skills and ability. When the mind rehearses in this way it becomes so familiar that the player can carry out physically all the things he has imprinted in his mind. She also works with injured players to speed up their recovery and restore their self confidence.
How it works
It works because whatever we focus on we move towards and our focus is only two things the pictures we make in our heads and the words we say to ourselves. Marisa teaches all her clients from premiership football players to youth teams to Olympic athletes to change their focus to fill up their minds with positive images and words and to replace every negative thought or image with a new constructive one.
Players are able to go into the Zone when playing, time moves slowly in the zone so they play with skill and are less likely to make mistakes. We forget that young footballers away from home are easily influenced and affected by losing so Marisa installs in them huge confidence and self belief in themselves and in their abilities.
The Olympic athletes she has worked with include the Olympic rowing team the Olympic bobsleigh team the Olympic rifle team. She often work with teams to make them get on and work in synch with each other and with their coach and managers.
She also works with top sportsmen and women in golf, tennis , riding, athletics, triathlons, marathons, swimming and gymnastics and has done a programme called Sports Seven for Channel 4 which covered her work with Olympic athletes and revealed just how many sportsmen have benefited from hypnosis.
The top Russian and American teams have been using hypnosis for years as have many other Eastern bloc countries.
