"People
always assume that television personalities are brimming with
self-confidence but the truth is we all have areas of our lives where we
wish we could do better. Marisa's approach is effective, refreshingly
different and more importantly, enjoyable". Anna Richardson,
TV presenter
"Every
time I take on a new project in life or face a particular challenge, I seek
Marisa Peer's extraordinarily effective hypnotherapy. Marisa's therapeutic
work is a hugely powerful resource in my life for which I am eternally
grateful".
Gerry Cott, co founder with Bob Geldorf and ex member of Boomtown Rats

"I
would be grateful if you could pass on my heartfelt thanks to Marisa for
freeing me of my addiction to chocolate. I saw her for a hypnotherapy
session in March of last year and since then have dropped from 9 stone 10 to
9 stone."

"Not
sure if you will read this but I wanted to write to you. I'm Ellie and have
finished reading your book. I always kinda felt that I had low self esteem
but reading your book was mind blowing its astounding to realise I have a
choice. I had no idea what an impact language can have on your mind and
being. So much that you described I recognised in my daily behaviour. I'm 23
and had been feeling incredibly lost and alone. It was shocking reading your
chapter on depression and anxiety. Whilst I am not depressed again a lot of
what you wrote struck a chord. Instead of writing to let you know what I
have achieved I thought I would let you in on my goal and therefore the
beginning of my journey. I am going to become a dancer. The words tenacity,
stoicism, persistence and determination just became my best friends."
Marisa I wanted to write and say thank you for you book Ultimate
Confidence. I spent decades reading self help books, looking for an
answer. Nothing seemed to hit the mark. I have a very important job and you
could not buy the things I get to do. I am a public speaker and relatively
famous for it. So, a lack of self esteem would never have crossed my mind.
So I kept looking for answers everywhere. Inside I was slowly dying. I was
grumpy, I became a hermit and sought ever more elaborate ways to distract
myself. I was on the sliding scale of depressed. By chance, a few
independent people suggested I read your book which I found it amazing.
When I first listened to the CD (sorry but I did not read the book first), I
could feel myself welling up. It was good to be told I was lovable and that
I was good enough.
It
was as thought I had waited my whole life to be told this. It was like I
had finally come home – I had made it.
"The transformation was incredible and relatively quick. My friends also
comment that people seem to talk to me and gravitate in my direction. At
meetings I feel strong. I seem to be rarely hurt. I am less desperate a
needy and feel more natural. I am rarely grumpy these days. For the first
time in my life, I was looking in the mirror and quite naturally said to
myself “I like being me” and actually meant it.
I
have no idea how much better things will get and I am quite excited and
hopeful. So, a big thank you from me"

"My
biggest regret had always been not having a degree. My dream was to do a
Masters Degree however this was just a dream as I had no confidence in my
abilities. When I read Ultimate Confidence I realised how many negative
beliefs I had accumulated and how they were limiting my progress. I used the
books guide to break these patterns and immediately began to feel relief and
a huge difference.
Through the simple visualisation exercises which Marisa describes in the
book I quickly began to grow a more positive image and identity which helped
my confidence levels soar. I applied to University and for the first time
actually believed that I belonged there. When I was asked back for an
interview I listened to the CD in the back of the book each night for 5
nights before the interview. When I arrived outside the building I was so
confident that I had no doubt whatsoever that I would be offered a place.
Needless to say I was offered an unconditional place to begin in Sept 09.
I’m not one to believe too much in fate but this book certainly came along
at the right time for me and helped me to develop exactly what I needed.
Marisa has made it very easy to understand and apply, if I can do it anyone
can. Thank you very much Marisa. "
